🚀 We’re Hiring: Field Service Engineer – Leuven, Belgium

Are you looking for a hands-on engineering role in a world-class technology environment? Manpower is recruiting on behalf of our global technology leader for a Field Service Engineer to join their team based in Leuven.

🔧 About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll provide highly visible customer support through:

• On-site installation and start-up of complex systems
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing equipment
• Performing preventative maintenance to ensure maximum uptime
• Approving operational quality and performance of systems
• Training customers in operation and maintenance
• Acting as the key liaison between the company and customers on technical and administrative matters

This role is varied and dynamic – covering hardware, software, and networking aspects of the equipment.

🔧 What We’re Looking For

We welcome candidates from diverse technical backgrounds – full training will be provided!

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role (Field Service Engineer or hands-on Technician)
• A tertiary-level qualification in Engineering (Mechatronics or Electronics ideal, other engineering disciplines also considered)
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English (Japanese or Dutch is a plus)
• Willingness to travel and work shifts
• Practical, hands-on approach to servicing and repairing machinery
